Overflow valve ÜV 200 KB consisting of a pipe sleeve with inserted Fire damper element BAK 200 and Cold smoke shut-off damper KAK 200. Overflow valve preferably for use in buildings with pressurised smoke protection systems (RDA) or stairway scavenging air systems (TSA), e.g. as an overflow valve in walls between anteroom and necessary corridor or between anteroom and usage unit. Overflow valve for air connection between two rooms. Enables pressure equalisation and ensures a purge air volume. Reduces the door actuating force and closes doors safely. Use in accordance with Chapter 8 (pressurised ventilation systems) in Annex 14 of MVV TB. BAK fire damper element with thermal release device (fusible link) as a shut-off device to prevent fire and smoke, for installation in walls that serve as fire compartments with the required fire resistance class K90-4102 or EI 90-1366. To be installed in the following interior components: concrete/porous concrete, plasterboard fire protection panels, non-combustible cement/gypsum-bonded building panels, in each case at least fire resistance class F90 (fire-resistant), corresponding to F90-A, with a minimum wall thickness of 100 mm. Flow only in one direction due to the KAK cold smoke shut-off damper. Tight against smoke transmission in the opposite direction. Opening pressure of the overflow valve on the solenoid shutter is variably adjustable using the adjusting screw on the cold smoke shut-off damper. Can be extended with metal disc valve as required accessory, for locking and protection against tampering and damage by unauthorised persons. The admissibility of the application must be checked and approved by the responsible building supervisory authority in the application case.
