Decentralised ventilation in apartment building
From the visually appealing and stylish architecture and the openly designed individual apartment floorplans, right through to the exclusive location - the Kfw-55 apartment building is an absolute eye-catcher. The decentralised EcoVent Verso ventilation system ensures the optimal feel-good climate and best energy efficiency levels. The heat recovery for this unit takes place in reverse operation, i.e. the supply and extract air phases alternate. The ceramic heat accumulator absorbs and stores the heat from the room air in the extract air phase. The fresh intake air is led through the ceramic accumulator and absorbs the heat so that the fresh air is preheated when it flows into living room in the subsequent supply air phase. In this case, at least two units form a functional unit by acting in a phase-shifted manner in their operating mode.
The combination that makes the difference
The EcoVent Verso units provide optimal air quality for the living rooms and bedrooms in the apartment building in Leonberg. An ultraSilence ELS mono tube fan is installed in the internal extract air rooms, such as bathrooms and WCs. By combining the two systems, the extension module responds as soon as the extract air fan becomes active and automatically adjusts the EcoVent operating mode. For example, it automatically switches to supply air mode and ensures an even air balance throughout the apartment. A sufficient air supply is ensured fully automatically in this way.
Residents can sit back and breathe easy thanks to the independence of the system. Another advantage is the uniform inner panel design of the different units. The extract air fans and EcoVent Verso also complement each other perfectly visually.
Commissioning via laptop
Controlling the EcoVent Verso is intuitive via the LED control element. The two buttons regulate five ventilation levels and three operating modes (reverse operation with heat recovery, cross ventilation and
supply air mode). As an alternative to commissioning the ventilation system via the buttons, the decentralised ventilation can also be connected to a PC or laptop via USB connection thanks to the innovative software “HELIOS EcoVent Verso”. Another advantage of EcoVent Verso is that all set values can be stored on the PC or laptop and transferred to the control unit, if necessary. This option not only saves time, but also cash, particularly for larger properties like the apartment building in Leonberg with identical residential units and identical numbers of units.
